    Binos, spotting scope, or both?

I asked this question in a location-specific thread, but thought it would be useful to ask a wider audience. Do you typically carry binos, a spotting scope, or both when bow hunting? Is your setup always the same or does it vary? Does the particular hunt location influence your decision and, if so, how?

Thanks for your ideas, experience, comments, etc.

Spotter is helpful if you are out west and spotting. I wouldn’t want to carry it on the stalk though. If hunting from a stand, no need for spotter.
Good binos on a tripod are also valuable for spotting all day

Like said above spotting scope is handy out west but not for me in the hill country while hunting. I do keep it at camp and scan the hill sides between hunts

I don't use a spotting scope when bow hunting. But I don't leave home without one when gun hunting. In South Texas I can see a deer a mile away and decide if it's worth taking a closer look. It also helps seeing extra points that may be present that a binocular wouldn't pick up. Also helps for aging deer when you can really zoom in on the face. You won't always pick up those telltale signs unless you have enough magnification.
