Picture loading tutorial help

This isn't working, I pick my picture and when i hit upload it says "upload of file failed".

I never had issues posting here before the “ sign in issue” which is still the same. And now I try everything and get the same “ message “ as you. I have pretty much given up. It’s the only sight I can’t post pictures on for some reason.

Piney, so where's the part about adjusting pic size and all that when you get
'File too large' errors?

I would post more pics too but this site stinks when it comes to that.

A trick that I learned to quickly reduce a file size is to take a screenshot of the pic you want. It will reduce it to an uploadable size.

If you get that message the file size is probably too large. All of my pics get that message unless I screenshot them and use the screenshot instead of the original pic.

Had to try again from my iPhone. You guys are awesome. What a Process first had to rotate the picture 360° and save to photos, then go advanced to be able to see the paperclip icon,then follow the steps and picked medium size.

There are filesize limitations set up in the software. I've increased those. You should be able to go to 1200 pixels on the widest side and filesize of 2megabytes. If we don't limit it, folks will post 5 megabyte files the size of a billboard and users on PCs have to scroll all over to be able to see the pic.

Please try again and let me know what you find. I can't replicate this on my phone but did make the adjustments.
