Ranchers/Farmers - Need Field prep help

Ok, so I plowed the tar out of some fields recently and their rough...Problem is I need to prep em for about 1000 pounds of Blue Stem and fert...Blue Stem can be broadcast with no problems and its actually the prefered method, but the seed rep said I need to 'harrow prep' my fields. Ive never planted this seed and I want it to take. Ive no-till in the past, but it wasnt an option this time.

I aint buying a 2000 dollar drag harrow. Ive made a couple in the past, just curious what types yall have made (Ole Tires, chain link...etc....) and what seemed to work best for you. I need to make a new one.

It is the off season and all...LOL

            Thanks...keep em coming

See if you can get your hands on a King Kutter Rototiller. I use one and it is freaky how good a seed be it makes, especially if you have already plowed it.

Here is what my food plots look like when tilled.

I have mine but I am really using it right now.

Got any cattle panels laying around? They'll work in a pinch.
