Year round for me. I started taking Wal-Phed PE from Walgreens twice a day and it helps a little.

have them every year(Fall) and it doesn't let up until the first frost and then its gone within a day(Ragweed).
Until then though, I do one Zyrtec in the morning and Chlorotabs through the day, one every 4-6 hrs. The past couple years the Chlorotabs have really helped me and my allergies are as bad as anyone's. Thanks again to the fireman/paramedic who told me about them. And they're cheap.
