I noticed you’re pretty much a snap shooter in your gate deer video. Almost recurve-esque. Have you always been that way?

Nope. I'm not that way. I just found my anchor and point of aim pretty quickly on that one. That's not typical for me and not what I did on that doe in the video above.

I'm likely too excitable in such a situation. Did I get the release set? Was the arrow nocked well? I couldn't tell you.

Nice job on the video, Morris! Great shot on the doe. I think Brent’s theory is most probable. It would be easy to knock below the D loop and not realize it. Either way, you got the important one (while sending a message to the invasives! )
