    Feeder/Timer Issues. Need help

We went to the lease Labor Day weekend. Filled the feeder (800 pounds). Get to the lease this weekend, first time since Labor Day and have corn growing 16” high in the feed pen. No corn left in the feeder. After reviewing the trail camera it looks as If Sept 7 after it rained the feeder went off that afternoon and emptied the whole 800 pounds out on the ground. Not sure why would it would do that. I put corn back in it and tested it and it tested fine. It is “The Timer” and it seems I had this same issue a few years ago. Any idea from the green screen on what could be the issue?

Could have gotten wet and shorted out. Usually when that happens it starts spinning and doesn’t stop until the battery is dead. The Timer has 2 AA batteries that could be allowing it to still throw now that it dried out. Make sure you put a new battery in the box and check the batteries in The Timer and make sure the motor spins freely.

Had multiple “the timers” do this, run until batteries dies. They had a bad run of timers, send it in.
