    Bowhunting is hard

Been sitting in a tree for hours, playing games & watching videos on my phone. Finally! Deer! OMG! Now what? Gotta stop the video, requires taking off a glove. Get the phone to the nearest pocket, put the glove bak on...... This one doe is really suspisious ("C" key is broke, forgive my spelling), kan hear my heart beat in my ear buds. Now, how am I gonna pik up my bow, stand up and take a shot? Before I kan get there, she's desided something aint right and trots off into the woods followed by the other 3 in the group. How in the the world does one get to full draw at 25 yards?

Put the phone games away and scan for movement. You cant get away with much with these deer.

Hahaha that’s what makes it fun. So many things wrong here but not wrong at the same time bc I do the same in the stand. I don’t wear gloves or stand to shoot. I’d practice sitting and shooting or stand after the feeder goes off. Other than that, that’s bow hunting

Put the phone down and pick up a pair of binoculars. I know its hard, I still look at my phone from time to time but try and keep it down

Very true - the older the doe, the better they are at busting you.

It’s a bad habit I need to break myself. I come out here to unplug and I’ll be dam if I dont end up on my phone.

No way I would put down my phone.....only time my deer show up is when I know nothing is around and take my release off the D loop and grab my phone. :-)
