Advertising- social media and other options

How do you advertise your business? Is it worth hiring someone/company that specializes in this? We have a website and FB page, these are our 2 main sources of advertising. I am not up to speed on all the social media platforms out there. We have new/used trailer sales, parts and a full service/repair shop. I am looking for ideas and advice for advertising

It’s not that hard to learn, not really worth paying someone unless you just don’t want to deal with it. Go to upwork.com and look at freelancers, I’ve had really good luck. Much better return than money spent on an agency

I’d recommend FB, I see a lot of businesses using it. Some successfully some not. Find some yardsale pages and promote your business, and find some FB pages that relate to your business and advertise there. Between that and word of mouth you should drum up business. Seems to be what my friends have done and it works.

Have you looked at Linkedin? Its for advertising and ive seen equipment companies use it often. Not sure why a trailer sales company couldn’t have success there. Might even get you in front of the oil and gas crowd which are always needing trailers and trailer repair.

Depends what you do for a living. I have spent thousands on social media etc - with zero results. Direct mail has worked wonders for me. I have 100 envelopes on my desk ready to go out next week.................
