    Live hunt for some bacon

Well I left out early this morning to to make a quick day run 3 hours south To Buna and get feeder ready for gun season. Wife had planned to get Halloween picture taken tomorrow but the shirts she ordered for us have t come in so she said don’t get in any hurry to get back. Sitting in tripod at family land in Tyler Co waiting for big group of pigs to show up. Didn’t plan on hunting today so all I have is my Grendel. Gonna sit some after dark as well.

I’ve got a half limit of dove, fat fox squirrel, cat squirrel and the resident swamp Rabbit. They are hot or miss but most of the time it’s right at dark when they are on camera.

Good luck, I'm in with a bow hoping for bacon also.

Thanks man, I was gonna try out my new climber and bow hunt this evening but harness and release are in my backpack in Bullard. Bow is sitting here at my moms house. So we are just after pigs

Oh and a neighbor has decided he needs to sight in what sounds like his 50cal at 6:30pm just to the east of me

I didn't notice your location when I posted. I'm probably less than 10 miles from Bullard.

Oh yea? I live out by Lake Palestine Dam, but I’m down south this evening.

Lights fading fast, getting kinda chilly. Hogs better come on

Well I can barely see the dirt patch under the Feeder in my Binos and there’s a big dark spot. I get all excited only to find out it’s a doe. Still waiting...

Got blood on the ground. I’ve got two 40 lb choates that hang out by themselves (red one and black one) and they came in about 20 minutes ago. Shot the Red one and it took off down in the creek bottom. Will go find it in the morning. Will update when it’s recovered.
