I'm speechless. Thats double lung all day. The majority of the members here have been hunting long enough to know thats double lung and dead deer unless the camera has played tricks. You need to make a big plaque under his mount with a brief story and name him in big bold letters, LAZARUS.

Unfortunately I failed to gut him. Some yellow stuff around the entry and exit so I left the front legs. Took the rear legs and backstraps. I have more pics of the outside of the body cavity of that is helpful? Second arrow went in quartering and got lots of vitals so it would be a challenge to see what did what.

Congrats on finally getting him. Glad It all worked out in the end. Sure wish you'd have done some sort of autopsy. Kind of leave a lot of question unanswered that could have help other bowhunters in the future.

Just crazy how that happened I guess this was the story and buck that Matt was telling me about last weekend. It’s crazy how you see shots much worse then that and they run 50 yards and fold up . Deers will to live is unbelievable. Congratulations on the buck and getting another opportunity. He is a stud .
