That was my understanding. I didn't think ther were any grease zeks or need to grease vehicles any more. I was told a couple of trucks ago that they are sealed and do not need greasing! What's the skinny?

Exactly!!! I have done that also...in my youthful years!

In my dealings with most grease guns I have found there are two kind. Those that are a piece of crap and those that will be shortly. I may have to try a couple mentioned above. I normally by a new one every few years.

After reading all the praise on the Lock N Lube, I had to try it. Just ordered one off Amazon.

mine leaked out the back of the tube where the T handle rod for the compression spring is retracted... They get hot in the barn and the grease drips out of the back of the gun onto my slab... Thinking I'm gonna get me one of those grease gun holder mounts and mount it horizontally or with the plunger side up on my tractor somewhere...

Seriously, am I wrong about vehicles not having grease zerks these days?

Where are they located? What vehicles are you guys greasing?

My Chevy has at least 6 grease points (zerks) on the suspension.

So while we are on the subject
I have a couple of zerts on the ujoints on my batwing I can’t get a good connection on
Does anyone make a smaller or some kind of angled connector for this purpose?

Lincoln has a kit. Northern Tool has it and other brands.

                      From the interweb:

"All cars need periodic oil and filter changes, usually every 3000-5000 miles. Modern cars do not have grease points and all those joints are permanently lubricated."

I forgot to mention I do have a lift kit installed. But Google says stock has 2 zerks on the upper tie rod ends.

Interesting. I have been told that my 2014 GMC pickup does not need greasing. Gonna have to check.

My 2013 1500 does not have grease fittings. I was looking under it last week while getting a tire.
