    Axle over spring RV question

So I have an older 38ft camper that stays at the lease. When I bought it about 10yr ago the lease were were on had septic hook ups at every camper hook up. Fast forward to the lease we have now we have a septic system but there is only only hook up and we use one of those roll around honey tanks to dump our black tanks.

My problem is that my camper is an axle-over-spring configuration AND it has 4" offsets so the black/grey discharge port is lower than the inlet on the poo-poo cart. I am tired of spilling that crap all over me and the ground trying to dump empty the tank. As far as I can tell I have 3 options.

    1. Install a redneck septic system at my hook-up. I think I can do this for about $500 including the rental of a mini excavator.

    2. Jack up the camper all the way around and install blocks to raise it up about 8 inches.

    3. Flip the axles so that they are under the springs and rotate them 90deg so that instead of a 4" drop they are a 4" lift.

This is basically a semi-permanent hook-up. It stays at the lease.

What do you guys think I should do? Is option 3 feasible?

I'd vote for the redneck septic if the property owner is ok with it. Cheapest and quickest least intrusive thing would be the blocks though, but then you still have to manually dump ****.

You could also buy a RV Macerator Pump and pump it into the tank, or if closed enough to the sewer line, most will pump it through a 3/4" hose up to 100ft

The axel flip will work fine, if your’e ok with your camper looking like a 4x4..

Could you dig down behind the camper with a tractor and box blade so when said poo wagon is pulled next to it, it’s lower?

Ultimately I would want to be hooked to the septic or go the redneck route like you said.

I dug a hole under mine about 10 inches deep the size of the cart. Problem solved.

or maybe buy more hose to route to a lower point where the cart is parked lower

Spring over axel works for straight axels but I wouldn’t pull one with a drop axel turned down.

Digging out for the honey pot is cheapest but a macerator pump a good bit less than your septic estimate
