Hope it gets better. At least you have deer. I dont even have any blowing at me. Also, this is my 4th sit this weekend and I havent had a feeder go off yet. Feeder issues at 2 different spots.

I walked up to stand with an 8 point bedded next to it. Not sure who it scared more. Since then had a doe come up from behind me. She never blew but didn't stick around long after she passed my ladder and got down wind of me. But that was around 7am.

Wind is wrong and I forgot my thermal cell and the mosquitoes are feasting on me. Feeder throws agan at 8:15. Hopefully more come for the second feeding.

That stinks. Just have hand corn here. Trying to hunt on the ground from brush blinds is tough. May have to rethink it n find me a tree

I started putting 2 feeders in my pens about 3 years ago when that happened. They throw 45 min apart. Never had both not throw. I will always have 2 feeders in every pen going forward. Being able to put 600 pounds is nice too. Can split the time in half and have longer times between refills. Doesn't matter as much during season but really helps in pre-season. Fill on labor day weekend and don't have to go back before season starts.

You sitting on the ground in a lawn chair without much cover and the ability to quietly swivel without much movement?

Yes on the ground with good cover and only one shooting lane

You need to get above ground to increase your chances with more shooting opportunities and less chances they will smell you, hear you or see you. Tripod, maybe?

I found a couple trees that will work for a ladder or lock on.
