Okay, this has been bothering me, but since you put these out here, I will ask.

If I understand, this is supposed to be a fitness contest? How can starving oneself and losing ALL fat, down to nothing but muscle and bone be healthy? That has to be hard on the body and obviously not natural. I applaud your wife for her dedication and hard work, but seriously, doesn't it do more harm to the body to go to this extreme than good?

Yes it’s unhealthy if you stay in this shape for very long. However, she only looks like this for a couple weeks and as soon as the show is over she starts reverse dieting and slowly adding in carbs and reducing cardio so she doesn’t tank her metabolism over night and pack on 20 pounds in a week.
