Not what you want to see when checking feeders

My girlfriend and I were replacing camera batteries and we drove up to one of our 2,000 pound feeders and saw this



The box did not slip down and there was still a lot of corn in the feeder. I think the issue is on the spinner plate. This spinner plate has 4 separate spring loaded trap sides and I think one of the sides did not pop back after it finished spinning. I did what most guys would have done and got out a 5 gallon bucket and shovel and told my GF to start shoveling while I traded out batteries.

Sat a malfunctioning feeder one morning, after the 21st time it went off I finally got down and pulled the battery... ugh

One our timers went bad last year. It took off and didn't quit till the battery died.
