A while back there was a discussion about, whether deer like to eat beauty berry. The last time I pulled cards out of my cameras, I got two videos of deer eating beauty berry. The first one is a doe eating beauty berry, the second one is a spike, also eating beauty berry. They definitely like beauty berry leaves. I have yet to see them eat the berries, but I would bet they do, I just have not seen it happen.

Thank you, thank you. But I prefer female companionship.

I called them deer berries before I came to this site and found out they were beauty berries.

They hit them the best after the first frost, it makes the berries sweeter. We are covered up with it, it’s everywhere on our lease.

Ever notice later in the season that the berries within reach of a deer are all gone?

Just like I tell myself before I open every snake ID thread that it is a Texas Rat

Interesting! Haven't heard that before, so you just smash them on yourself or is there more prep involved?
