Leaf identification

    Being the leaf is brown...Is the leaf flexible or crispy? Is the topside of the leaf thin and raspy or thickish and waxy/slick?

    It may actually be a leaflet to an ash or some other compound leaf. Not likely a legume. I cant quit see the base and if its collared to indicate a simple and not a compound leaf. Outside chance of evergreen.

    I believe we are looking at the bottom of the leaf...?

              Leaf identification

              It definitely is in the elm (ulmus) family because of the uneven base. Where was it found?

                        Update:
                        After dad recommended finding another leaf, she admitted that she didn’t really need it since she did 5 more than required. Sucker was tossed! I love that overachiever though.
