This is a fact. There is no void below the spine in the chest cavity. If your shot is below the spine it's through some portion of the lungs.

Yet the point you all ignore is that under the spine and barely hitting the lungs does not mean a fatal shot.

The shot on that buck is not below the spine.

I shot this buck in nearly the same spot. It didn’t get into the chest cavity, I was up 10-12 feet or so at 15 yards. Took me a while but I caught up with him, he didn’t survive the second encounter. Lol
