She has this look of confusion on her face. She says your bills $7.87. I replied yes ma'am i should get $5.75 back. She said ok? Entered it in the register and had a surprised look on her face. Than proceeds to give me $5.25 change back...

Why would you even think about tendering more than 10.00 for the bill? You intentionally trying to be difficult? I wouldn't accept that amount. Take the ten and give ya change.

Not being difficult at all.
They wanted exact change because of the coin shortage.
Since I don't like ones i tried to get the biggest bill back in change i could and the least amount of coins.
