Welcome and congrats to the wife. Bow hunting is addicting for sure as others have said. This is a great place to soak up a wealth of knowledge.

Pretty proud of her, she got the big guy gutted and on ice until I could get there to get him caped and quartered. First deer off that piece of land in over 40 years. Not a monster but he’s a special deer to our family so he’ll be getting a place on the wall
How cool is that! Congrats to both of you.

Welcome to TBH. Bowhunting is challenging and addictive. I grew up hunting but was introduced to bowhunting 16 years ago by my wife's family. I was immediately hooked and I'm sure you will be too.

Got in the blind myself this morning. Had 2 does and a fawn come by and then a spike. I almost let one go on the spike but he was a young deer so maybe next year he’ll do something better at 2 1/2. Had a few young up and comers come by before the action shut down. Went ahead and headed back to the metro mess so I could get meat dropped off an Cinnamon Creek and the horns headed to Alpine for the wife. Got a lot to do the next few weeks so it’ll probably be 3 weeks before I sit again. Maybe I’ll have my new-to-me Mathews set up.
