    Registering to vote

I have been trying to figure out how to do this. My problem is I work 7-5 Monday thru Friday. Everything is closed when I get off and on the weekend. Can anyone here on Texasbowhunter register me to vote After 5:30pm any day of the week? I appreciate the help.

All you have to do is fill the paper out. Anyone can drop it off at the tax office. If you have a friend or neighbor who drives through town ask them to pick you up a registration card. I am nowhere near you or I would put one on your doorstep.

            Ways to Register
To register to vote in Texas, simply complete a voter registration application and return it to your county election office at least 30 days before the upcoming election date. To complete an application, you may:

Complete an application using the SOS ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATION. Simply fill in the required information, print, sign and mail directly to your county election office.
Contact or visit your local VOTER REGISTRAR to complete the voter registration process.

Tell them you are a democrat. They will usher you right on into the booth. No need to register.

I believe you have to be registered for 30 days before you can vote.

Mine comes in mail every year...
on my high horse all you need to vote is : Last year IRS return/SS card/D Lic/Birth cert..
(any 2 )all must be legit or go to JAIL for fraud...or slapped hard enough with fine that they wouldn't try again

People in Jail should loose right to VOTE.....
