    Know a local guy that was given a crossbow several years ago as a Christmas gift.

    Was told to watch the video first but he insisted on cocking it and for whatever reason decided to uncock it instead of firing bolt into something.

    Somehow he had a hold of the cocking rope with one hand and pulled trigger and got same effect as pictured above

    Needless to say, after his finger or thumb healed he watched the video before messing with it again

                      That's exactly how mine felt. It was a pretty long drive from Baker 3 in Rocksprings to the clinic in Kerrville lol.
