Cabelas Sausage Stuffer

I have this 20# Cabelas Sausage Stuffer that is giving me issues. When cranking the pressure seems to build then it pops/skips a gear. It does it even with the larger tubes, so it's not like I'm trying to push huge chunks of meat through the snack stick tube. Is there any adjustments that can be made? Any other ideas how to fix it?

Might be an issue with the gasket. I had to replace one that would pop out and create similar issues.

are you sure the relief valve is clear

Are you referring to the small spring loaded piece that is in the plastic plate?
