I've been interested in a West Texas Elk for a long time and was wondering if anyone has done it and what did you think about the experience? Pics, Videos are always welcome!

My dad shot a cow elk on private land two years ago out around Alpine/Sanderson area. Not sure if I still have a picture but he sent me some of the bulls they saw and they were well over 300".Comment

I have a buddy that does some guiding on these west Texas elk hunts. The success rate is much better than going out of state, cost is up there. I wouldn’t call it unreasonable, However it’s probably more than I am willing to pay for an elk hunt. $10,000 but the smallest bull that they have taken is 362”. They took a 438” last year.Comment
