Shot looked pretty darn good. Thanks for posting.

Yep, the ones that give me the most trouble seeing them at night are the medium brown/red ones. To over come this I have used a 10-lb bag of flour poured out on the ground to make their outline clearly visible in the dark.

Shot was a little high above the vitals. You got your arrow back so that is a plus. shoot another one

Yes. Telephone pole I “planted.” Lol. They just can’t leave it alone. I hung my camera on it for a while but they always push it over and cam points at the ground.

Man, I’ve thought about doing some telephone pole planting myself. I always heard they love to rub against the ones soaked in creosote for parasites. Thanks for sharing.

Old carpet nailed to a tree soaked with diesel will draw them to rub on as well.
Keep shooting and filming guys. Enjoy them found or not.

Dead pig, a bit high, but it at least got the left lung, likely some arteries. You need a tracking pig like Boris. That pig that got the arrow is dead. If the broad head only caught the top of the left lung, which I bet it got the top of both lungs, it would have ran farther than a heart shot pig, but it's dead. With a high shot like that, there is not going to be a lot of blood on the ground, but his chest cavity filled all the way up with blood.
