Browning Apex Game Cam; Problem?

A few weeks ago I ordered/bought 2 Browning Apex game cams, both @ the same time. One picks up movement about 40' away, both day & night. The other won't, consistently, pick up movement except when I'm walking up to the camera to check the card/settings. Is there some update maybe one got & the other didn't? One works great, the other works worse than a $40 Wildgame cam. Any tips on trying? Thanks.

Google “browning trail cam firmware update” and follow the directions carefully. I’d Update both cameras.

Thanks. I looked that up on Brownings game camera site and it doesn’t list any available updates for the Apex.

Any other ideas?
