Nomad gear?

I'm looking to upgrade my camo from the clearance magellan stuff..

I don't have the ability, nor desire, to spend 2k on sitka, kuiu, or first lite.

Been looking into nomad and cant find much about it trying to sift through all the major brands.

Anyone use nomad?

We bought some on clearance last year. I like it. Wife got a vest and son and I got insulated pants.

I wore the pants in Colorado down to 17 degrees and 18" of snow. Stayed warm and dry

I caught some on sale at Academy last year and it seems fine. I wore it a few times goose hunting last year but that’s my only experience with it. If you can wait Academy will have it 50% or more off after season.

I grabbed two early season pairs of nomad pants and they’re great for when it’s hot. Very durable imo. I wish I had grabbed a couple of shirts to match though lol.

Just keep a close eye on your local Academy and they will have it heavily discounted after season. 50-80% off. I’m too cheap to pay full price for hunting clothes so that’s when I stock up. Lol

Lol I almost always buy my camo second hand but I’m usually buying Sitka. (After using that stuff last season I’m a believer)

But the nomad stuff was great for early season so yeah, I’ll wait and grab some shirts after season.

Camofire has some nomad stuff listed pretty regularly. I’ve got a mid season soft shell jacket that I like. It makes a little noise like all soft shell material, but it blocks the wind well.
