    Stuffed flounder stuffing

Anyone have any recipes they would be willing to share for flounder stuffing?? I’m thinking about cream spinach with onions and red peppers with sautéd scallops diced in for stuffing. I might pan sear some shrimp and add them as well.

Unless y’all have some new ideas that I’d like to try better. Please post up some stuffing ideas.

I saute onions, red bells, and maybe some japs. Mix that in with an egg, bread crumbs and shredded crab meat. I love it.

Since meeting in the famed kitchen of Brennan’s on Royal Street in New Orleans, Chefs Keith and Nealy Frentz have been showing their love for Louisiana seafood on a daily basis. In 2006, they opened their cozy restaurant Lola in a former caboose in Covington’s historic downtown, were named Chefs to Watch in 2009, and

I like the ones with crab in them

I’ve done it a bunch but it’s been about 5 months. That episode reminded me that I really really like flounder haha

Its cheating but I take a frozen stuffed crab you get at the grocer, dig out the filling, throw the shell away and put the filling in the flounder. Mighty good.

Saute onion, bell pepper, a little celery in butter. Add shrimp and crab claw meat. Cook until the shrimp are done.. add bread crumbs and seafood stock until it has the right consistency.

Stuff flounder and bake until flounder Is done.. I can't give measurements because that's not how I learned to cook.. I put some of this and a little of that in the food..

I’m the same way, I never learned off measurements. I cook off feel and the eyeball test.

In high school where we gigged also had a bunch of stone crabs. We could break the claw off and then stuff the claw meat in the flounder with butter and garlic. Delicious.

bacon, shrimp, green onions - fry and stuff your flounder with it. You can also add some diced jalapenos if you like it with a little kick.

I like to de-bone them by removing the head and taking a fillet knife and slicing along the backbone on both sides. Turn them inside out and cut the tiny fin bones off with scissors. Once bones are removed put right side out and stuff with crab meat and shrimp stuffing with onions bell peppers a half of jalapeno. Score the top side in 2 places and coat with garlic butter. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes while basting with butter at 15 minutes and 20 minutes..

I pocketed these two and cut all the pin bones out. Going with celery, onions, bell pepper, shrimp, crab, bread crumbs for stuffing.

Cream spinach and scallops for sides.
