Definitely a badger laying claim to grub, keep an eye on it, I've found them ate down to where the deer was folded in half and not much more than feet and head poking out of the ground.

Don't know what killed it, but a badger claimed it. Set up a camera on the deer.

the front nose was knocked off by train, then bigfoot ate the guts. Then the badger laid claim to the leftovers. One thing for sure the yotes have not found it yet.

I agree with this. Not sure if it was the rain/weather we had or what that killed it, but a badger seems to like it.
I put a camera over it when I found it and will check back in a couple days.
