    High volume Covert users

    Curious to see if anyone else is having the same issues that we are...

    We are running 17 Covert cameras as follows:

    9 AT&T cameras
    7 Verizon 3G cameras
    1 Verizon LTE camera

    The issues that we are having:

    1. I'm on the new 20,000 pics for $19.99/mo plan (plus $5/mo per additional camera) and have noticed that when our 20,000 pics run out (about every 2 weeks), I'm charged the $19.99/mo TWICE but I only get 20,000 pics rather than 40,000. I initially misunderstood and thought that the 19.99/mo covered both the Verizon and AT&T cameras but I clarified with Covert support yesterday that I was mistaken, and that I should in fact be charged 19.99/mo for my AT&T cameras, PLUS 19.99/mo for the Verizon cameras. BUT they also clarified that I should be getting 20,000 pics for EACH plan, so 40,000 pics total. They told me yesterday that they reset something on their end and that I should now be getting 20,000 pics per plan but when I look at my pic count on my app, that is not the case. My current pic count is 3,059/20,000 for each type of camera.

    2. I just activated my Verizon LTE camera a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday, when my 20,000 pics ran out, I was charged the 19.99/mo THREE times to renew my plan! Once for the AT&T cameras, once for the Verizon 3G cameras, and once for the Verizon LTE camera. Covert did confirm yesterday that this was incorrect and they credited me the 19.99 back. Just wanted to point his out in case anyone else has both Verizon 3G and LTE cameras.

            Just call them and work it out. We have around 40 on one plan. I think he just went to the million pictures for $850 for the year or something like that.

              Yea, I'm on the 150K pics/year and it rebills on 10/10 of each year... but I'm all ATT... Verizon doesn't work where we are in South Texas well at all... Couple buddies had Verizon cameras they brought from East Texas and had to switch... could not get a workable/dependable signal for the Verizon cameras...

                We are running 8 Coverts with At&t. Their plans are so confusing. I know we're spending about $1200 a year and I'm sure we are overpaying. One time I called in because I got a random charge for $30 and they said I was incorrectly charged for reactivating a camera and credited the account. I'm sure they've gotten us like that many times. A lot of small charges you wouldn't notice that add up over time.

                  Thanks for the feedback. I agree on their support being great and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Covert. Their cameras and support are both top notch.

                  I checked with them on this issue on Friday and thought it was resolved but my pic counts still reflect the same count for both AT&T & Verizon, consequently only giving me 20,000 pics per month rather than the 40,000 that I paid for. I will contact them again tomorrow. (For those who haven't used it, their online chat support is excellent as well.)

                    I used up all the pics and paid for another 50k. But it also charged me the $15/cam fee as well which is bogus. Should just have to it more pictures, I already paid for the extra cams.

                      I have 11 and am on the 40,000 pics per month plan that I’m pretty sure they aren’t offering anymore. I don’t need that many in the off-season but I don’t want to change anything and lose the 40,000 pic per month option and not be able to get it back. It runs around $80 a month for the pics with the 11 cameras. All AT&T

                        Wow. I thought I was in high cotton with 2 AT&T's. You guys are ballin outa control!
                        And yeah, I seem to get random charges as well.
