    Frog legs!

I did a little frog fishing over Labor Day weekend and caught a ton of ‘em. Does anybody have any recommendations for preparing them? The only way I’ve ever cooked them is in a skillet with hot grease. I like them that way, but Looking to try something new.

I had some that were seasoned with lemon pepper seasoning and then broiled in the oven. They were pretty tasty.

Never had them any other way than chicken fried. I haven't had frog legs in years.

You've done flung a craving on me now.

This. Seasoned and either oven roasted or slow cooker. Best I've ever had were cooked this way, and in Russia of all places.

They are pretty good on the grill or griddle pan fried like a steak without any batter on them... Season them up the way you like and throw em on the grill or griddle... works pretty good in an iron skillet on the stove too...'bout the same. You can slather a little bbq sauce on em when you turn 'em the last time... That adds a little zing to 'em sort of like folks do wings and such..

Cooked a mess last weekend. Just flour, salt and pepper fried. Hard to beat that!

Oh, I agree. That’s how I typically do them and I will do some of these that way, just looking to try something new.

Thanks for the responses thus far.

Might gets some push back from the fried crowd, but I’d bet they are good in court bullion. I’ve not tried it but not sure how it couldn’t turn out great.

They are good that way. We put the backs and front legs in the courtbouillion and fry the back legs. Push dat rice n gravy around with a big ole fried leg and eat dat together.

Had some awesome legs at a Chinese Buffet, long closed. They were baked best I could tell. Did not want to know the details but were tasty.

I'd love to get a hold of some! We don't have the bull frogs on our tanks like we used to.

We do ours buffalo style. Tossed in whatever flavor you like. Also, grilled isn’t bad but don’t over cook them
