For public land hunts these should work great. I'm testing one in the backyard now.

All I will say, is buy a real one and then we will see how you feel

Oh I have some stealth cams that are good. Photo quality is slightly better than tasco but really the stealth cam shines in detection.

Pulled the card. Set on 8mb daytime looks great, but most night pics were ghosting/blurry. Going to up the MB and retry.

Until it gets stolen. Or a cow rubs against the T-Post, knocks it in the ground, steps on it and breaks it.

I bought two at Academy to place around our chicken coop area. I was surprised by the pics for $29.99.

Picked up a couple and tested them out. Not bad, but I would suggest to use the 3 burst mode or video, the speed is a little slow. Video looks pretty dang good though.

Also, the red IR lights might spook deer so I'll be hanging it around 7 or 8 ft.

                            ^^^ Nice!

So, I put one out A few days ago with hopes of getting pics of a few regular visitors to my feeder in the back yard.

Went this morning to pull the card and when I opened the door where switches are at, I noticed it was blinking “No SD”. Took old card out, and put new card in. Same thing. Took it out a few times thinking it was just a bad connection. Couldn’t get it to connect.

When I initially set it, it did the count down, so not sure what happened. No pics on card at all.

Took it home and put a different card in it and it started the count down as it should. Put it back out. Will check in a few days. If same issue occurs again, I might return it.

Tascos are regularly $28 and change at Walmart. Better camera.

I picked one up at a Ft Worth Academy the other day, to have a spare. We'll see how it goes. GS reviews make it sound like a deal for $29
