Clevis Grab Chain Hooks on a FEL Question

Traded my neighbor some mowing for his welding skills. I bought some Clevis Grab Chain hooks for him to weld onto my front end loader. Do I need to remove the bucket before he welds them on? Or, can I leave the bucket on...does it even matter? Thanks!

Just hook the ground to the bucket and don’t worry about it. You don’t want to arc through the cylinders.
