Vacation ideas before the new year

I’ve got some American Airlines credit to use before the new year. I’m looking for some vacation ideas with the kids before the new year. There 9 and 6 and we decided no more Christmas gifts, just vacations. They do good in school so I have no problem taking them out for a vacation.
