    Learned a lesson

Hauling a skid steer back from Sulphur la to Bay City, I had spent a few days helping dad and his neighbors get property cleaned up. Was just past the last Vinton exit when I heard a noise like I hit something. Didn't see anything in my mirror but noticed I had no turbo Pulled onto the shoulder and saw that my intercoolant hose was off. The plastic fitting shattered. Sat for 3 hours on side of road, had one beer in the cooler and a find young man from Mike Willis ford brought me a new hose. 40 seconds to put it on and I was back on the road. I will carry a spare one in the tool box, If you have a Ford diesel may want to have that piece of mind and have one extra. I plan on upgrading to a stronger one soon!

There is a big long thread here about that pipe. The newer ones are better built so you should be good.

Surprised you found a dealership with parts department open today

Probably be a good thing to keep if they are known to give out

They will be open. Most I have worked for, you get Thanksgiving maybe and Christmas, that's it. Actually, one dealer I worked for divided up the dealership and had half come in early and the other half come in, in the afternoon. At that dealer, the only holiday you got off was Christmas.
