    Hoyt Havoctec Cam & 1/2

Does anyone shoot this bow ? My Brother passed away a few months ago, and we found this bow in his Bow case. He had just bought it and we were looking forward to bowhunting together again. I'm actually a Mathews shooter but after holding this bow, I'm interested in how it might shoot.
    Any info is appreciated.

I love that bow. I have wanted to get one for a long time. My buddy has one and it shoots great. Sorry for your loss. I would keep it for sentimental reasons, but If you decide to get rid of it let me know.

my first two bows were havoctecs

sweet, my second one was the first style of cam.5 that came out. I shot the crap out of those bows and really enjoyed them. both of them are still in business with someone else.

I have the Razortec. I don't think they are very different. The razortec is awesome. It drives tacks.

I had one and still would if it had been 60# instead of 70#. Absolutely the best bow I ever owned. What a tack driver.

I have one and love it, I also have a Hoyt Vulcan. If I have to get rid of one it would be the Vulcan, I love how small it is and how well it shoots so if I were you I would keep it.

Yes Hoghead62, I agree on the Axle to Axle-- It is right in their with My Mathews SQ2.
I'm going to take it to Fred (My Bowman) and let him set the draw back to 27.5 and turn the weight down to 65 lbs and see what my Gold tips will do.
Most of the guys on here seem to like this Bow. I will try to Honor my Bro and get some blood trails going with it.

X2 for sure on that. I would hunt with the hoyt and have your mathews for a back up. Also sorry for your loss as well.
