    Front Tire Wear

2016 Dodge 3/4-ton 4WD wearing on outside of both front tires like too much toe-in. Ball joints and tie rods feel tight. Simple alignment issue or would you suspect something else?

Struts maybe? They'll affect tire wear as well...I think.

Straight axle dodges are a pain to keep a good alignment especially if you’re running over than stock sized rims and tires.Straight axles don’t have all the adjustments that independent suspensions have.I used to run 35” tires on mine but have gone down to 33s and I still have to replace wheel bearings about once a year and ball joints about every other year or so.I average about 30-35k miles a year though.Make sure you’re rotating every oil change too,I change my oil and rotate at 7500 miles. If you can find a good front end shop to do your alignment and not NTB or Discount.

The "wavy" wear makes me think I might need new shocks too. 75,000 miles and these are original, but they seem to be working fine.

Certainly part of my problem, haven't rotated in about 25,000 miles. Doing that today. No lift or over-sized tires/wheels.

I used to find myself in this situation until I figured out tires could/should be rotated every 5k or so---same as oil and filter. Now when I get the oil changed, I head to Discount Tire for a rotation and balance checkup.

I have a Ram 2500. I rotate at every oil change and typically get 70k miles or more out of a set of tires.

Too much toe wears inside of tire. You should have your alignment checked

Start with alignment, then get you some fox 2.0 shocks and some brand new mud tires.

Alignment and rotate and balance. I need to do both myself.
