Which Fitting?

Finally replaced my old refrigerator and trying to connect the water line to the fridge. The outgoing refrigerator didn't have the water line connected so I do not have one for reference. I tried the brick and mortar stores, but couldn't get any help. Google has failed me as well. I know the nut for a 1/4" compression fitting will thread on, but the ring will not let the threads catch.

So what part am I looking for?

I already have the 1/4" poly line run. This fitting is the only thing holding me back. Unfortunately, this isn't a straight forward install. I have to route the line up and over a doorway then back down to this fridge connection.

It's. 1/4" compression fitting, use a teflon ferrell instead of the brass ones. But the line pictured above is much easier if they have it in the length you need.

Yea, this is what I thought and what I have been trying to use, but the threads just won't catch. I will go tomorrow and look for the teflon ferrule.

What about 1/4" Compression with 1/4" FIP adapter?
