    Cat pee in vehicle

Left the windows down on a blasting hot day last week and look out the kitchen window , and see my mother in law’s cat jumping out the truck window,
Now I smell that cat pee smell in the truck , any products or home brew that can kill the funk
Thinking about pouring a can of coffee straight on the back seat Or box of baking soda?

Run an ozone machine in it for a couple of hours.

Well I know exactly how I would start to ensure it didn't happen a second time

Ozone generator for 30min might get the smell or at least reduce the intensity. Fabreeze pet formula might help too

Leave a pound of shrimp in the truck with the windows up for a couple of days and you won't smell the cat pee.

                Like others have said, Ozone.

Until you get that set up:

"Mix one cup white vinegar to three cups water (1:3). Coat the urine-stained item with this solution and allow to sit for a few minutes. Cover the stained area with baking soda, if you wish. Baking soda will work along with the vinegar to absorb and neutralize odor."

Try this: Unique NaturalProducts Pet Odor& Stain Eliminator and use a carpet cleaning machine like the small Bissell. It is not cheap, but it works.

Been there done that. I got rid of it but it was my truck and I certainly won’t advise the same procedure for someone else. Good luck! Oh a Havahart trap in the bed of a truck is out of sight and an excellent location to trap “wild animals”. Sometimes I forget to check it until I have already left the house and on my way to work. Makes it easy to “release them” back to “wild” uninjured and Away from my neighborhood. Really helps eliminating “raccoons”.

Ozone is the biggest scam of all scams

If you really want to keep the truck, put a little ACTIVATED charcoal in there where the cat peed and it will absorb the smell. If not, sell it to someone with Covid 19 that has lost their sense of smell.

Nature's Miracle Cat Enzymatic Urine Destroyer, 1 gallon jug for around $20. Available at Petsmart and Petco.

                              This stuff works.
