    Zyn nicotine

Decided I'd finally give up the snuff habit. Ordered me up some of the Zyn pouches to help me get over the hump.

I ordered the 6mg stuff. I been dipping snuff for years. Off and on for most of 30 years or so. I had no idea how strong the 6mg pouches were going to be. These things give me a buzz. I mean like head in the clouds type of a buzz. Similar to what dip did to me when I first started.

Any of y'all have that experience? Thought I was tough, but dang!!!

If you tried any other products that helped you get over the habit, please post your experience and what you used.

    Thanks

Nicotine addiction is the same no matter how you package it.... I dipped Copenhagen for 30 years. I tried everything. Just jumped from one source to another.
Chantix was the only thing that helped me break the Nicotine addiction. 7 years now.
I wish you well. Addiction sucks.

Zyn pouches are just another form of dip, and in my opinion a faster acting - less satisfying version if it (just salts and nicotine). I laughed a little because I tried the 6mg while driving out to West Tx and went through the intense buzz, nausea, swore it off, and was dipping it again within the hour... I dip off and on, usually around hunting season. I can start and stop on command. The way I learned how to stop is to understand why you crave nicotine and the effects it has on your brain and reward system. Watch a couple you tube videos on nicotine, understand what the drug is doing to you and why. It is easier to say no because you understand the effects and can consciously make a decision to stop feeding the urge. It goes away with time. Try general snus pouches or just double horseshoe some dip until you puke and throw it away.

I used Tic Tacs, gum and Jolly ranchers. I tried the nicotine gum and what not but it is still nicotine and does nothing to break that addiction.
