Finished with 13 in Seguin on a new dove lease. Tons of grain in the area - birds were really scattered- mojo helped.

Started near graford it was BAD... Drove to mills county... Birds were crazy thick beast hunt I've ever had

HATED not having any dog... She is home with pups

Hunted out in Wichita Falls. Was able to miss the lightning and rain all around us all morning. Decided to take my .410 out since they were not pressured yet and got limit of WW and Mournings and 6 bonus Eurasian doves. 15 out 17 in group got limits in morning.

We were able to take limits yesterday afternoon at my office near Hutto, wind was kicking pretty good & made it interesting for some of the high flying white wings. I shot my old 1923 Lefever Nitro Special side by side for a cool tribute. Birds had everything from maise, corn, sunflower seeds, to millett in their craws.

They are still hammering them all around my office this morning, despite the rain showers.

Scratched out a limit yesterday evening in Mills County. Took some high percentage shooting and a few lucky shots to do it.

Shot limit this pm in bout an hour.
Great fun but I’d rather have shot one and watched Jack work
RIP buddy. Miss you. And it’s not close to being the same.
