New Cooler - Less than 10lbs

    Hey Guys,

If you haven't seen these, I am throwing it out there. The Rugged Road company has created a cooler that weighs less than 10lbs and will hold ice for 8-10 days.. Yall should check it out and I am in no way affiliated with this company. I sent an email to them asking about the product and the owner responded to me with some additional pictures showing the cooler stuffed with 2 quartered bucks.

Rugged Road outdoor coolers come in various sizes, are lightweight, float upright, and are very durable. Shop our large outdoor coolers today.

maybe you could share the pictures . I like the fact it is light and holds more beer than the 65 qt.

EDIT: not sure why I didn't notice to keep scrolling down before, but see there are more pictures and video.

there's a video on the cooler at the link. No hinges, no latches etc appears to only be the two straps that go over the lid and hold it down. IMO based on what I saw, looks like the old Styrofoam coolers dipped in plastic.

Me too, I think they called them Lowboys. They were thick though, and held ice a long time. I made a bait box out of one, cut a hole in the top for an agitator and kept slick jims in it for several days while fishing the Red. Still got it as a matter of fact.

Looks interesting, especially if you can fit it on a kayak for overnight trips, we just did a Devils River trip and I bet that thing would've been great on some of the bigger Kayaks that some of the guys had

Really does look like an old styrofoam cooler. I’d be interested in it at about $75.

I like it but how will the straps handle the sun? Would also like a hinge even if it were just nylon. My luck, the wind would blow the top overboard.

I'd like to see 2 quartered bucks in it. Dont look like it'd hold 1 KS buck.

And lucky he didnt cut the straps opening the box.

Still a cool (no pun intended) cooler.

I'd like to have one, but not for $200.

My Colemen 150qt is light enough and good enough for me @ < $100.

I'd like to see him make another video without the mouthful of mac and cheese.
