We ended up with a Yeti cooler a couple years ago playing Christmas gift games. I know it was purchased at Academy but have no receipt. I guess they are called Yeti Flips now, I believe it is the 12 model. Anyway, very lightly used, probably a dozen times at most, always stored in the garage on a shelf. Went to use it a couple weeks ago and the zipper teeth apparently got off line and they are all over the place now. Essentially the zipper appears that it is shot. I went to academy and they won't do anything about it since it was over like 60 days, Yeti says they will only warranty for a short period of time and proof of purchase is required. So basically, I have a nice cooler with a broken zipper. Should I throw this thing away or is there someway to repair or replace the zipper? I'd hate to throw an expensive cooler away, especially since it is basically like new. Suggestions?

Did you email Yeti? I've had them replace an older cooler when the zipper broke. No proof of purchase required. -

To sound like a broken record I'd contact yeti. Have a buddy that broke a zipper and they sent him the newest version of the cooler he had.Comment
