    Aquarium lighting help

I have an 135 gallon African Cichlid tank that currently uses 2ea 36” long fluorescent bulbs. I am having a he!! of a time finding replacements for them & have been told I need to convert to “LED”. I don’t have a problem switching but I don’t know what to look for. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!

Ebay has some good priced LED and I would go with the 7500k and up temp rating and the more led count in the fixture the better. I have one 48” on a 360gallon that’s 4’x4’x3’

If you want to go cheap for something that will "probably work" get something in your size @ Lowes/Home depot in the 5-6500k"daylight spectrum. Will grow plants etc. I have a Current USA Light in my planted aquarium. Bought online from an aquarium supply. Been several years old now and don't remember which supply Co. But it is programmable for time, Light spectrum etc, etc. Has dawn & dusk settings to so no instant on Kinda expensive too @ about $200 for an 18 incher but IMO worth it!

Follow the instructions in this video. It's a PVC pipe, PVC gutter, and adhesive backed LED strip. I think the final bill should be under $50 easy.
