I’ll bet 50/50 gly/diesel used as hack and squirt will kill them. The bigger the trees, the more cuts you have to make. I haven’t done it, but what few I’ve had were just cut with a bush hog and they didn’t come back.

This will kill them dead, I would think if you broadcast them along the fence by hand the big bucket would be enough. Best to apply before a light rain so they go into the ground.

Texasair, I used it straight only because I directly injected on a wound, I.e. a drill hole. I wanted them dead. Most tree/weed killers if you mix to strong with a surfactant it will kill to quick and only kills limbs, not roots because of the quick kill. Like others have said though, theses type of tree brush killers will straight up kill large oaks, pecans and basically anything else of it can leach out. From my experience your good out about 10 ft, we don’t have a lot of large trees so I take extra precaution.

Thanks for all the replies. I’m going to go the Remedy/diesel mix to start with. I have RM43 and I may try drilling some and see which works better.

Anything smaller than my wrist gets a coat of remedy/diesel mix

Larger stuff gets a hack and squirt of Toradon

Over 6" gets 1/2" hole at 45 down angle about 2" deep and filled with Toradon

Bigger stuff takes longer to die but, it will die

Check out Brushtox, if I recall right it’s a Generic Remedy but quite a bit less $

Garlon 4 ultra is your friend. 1 part garlon 3 parts diesel. Basal spray the bottom 18 inches.

Garlon 4 is bad stuff. Doesn’t work too well on grass but it will kill the crap out of anything tree-like. I get it from my buddy that works for the power company in 5 gallon jugs. It will kill any tree you even get close to. I normally just mix it 50/50 with diesel.
