About the only thing that we got out of the hurricane, other than maybe a little rain, was enough wind to shake acorns out of the oak trees around my house. Might make the mast crop a little short this fall.

Yep, I hated to see all those acorns on the ground. Got sick to my stomach.

We had a hell of a storm roll through last night in Austin County. Lots of wind and lightening. Of course, dove season starts Tuesday and we didn’t see a single dove this evening after that storm last night.

Buddies of mine that live around Jasper said they got really high winds probably not many acorns left on the trees there either

Sure didn't phase the acorns in Houston co. Post oak and water oaks hanging With them.
