    Ants in Protein Feeder

Lamco timed protein feeder has ants inside (and some other small beetle). Anything I can do to treat/prevent ants eating protein pellets?

Put a little diatomaceous earth in there

Mint oil will keep most ants away not sure about the beetles

If bet my bottom dollar the beetles are weevils. They are in all feed, but you just don’t normally see them if the feed is used up fast enough. If the feed is stored, then they have a chance to multiply.

            I would agree with weevils.

I'd spray around the feeder with Bifen.
