That is what all the freeway signs on I-10 in Houston said earlier this evening.

Laura was the strongest storm to hit LA in 150 years. Hit the coast as a CAT 4 and left the state as a CAT 1.

From Shreveport to Lake Charles there are trees and powerlines down everywhere.

Tomorrow will be the first day for clean up not to mention if they have to do rescue missions.

And oh yea, Texas was in the storm too, so you have our state line that will need to be addressed.

Ok, I'm probably banging out on the keyboard everything you already know thus the point of your thread.

Its going to take at least a week before all roads are cleared and power restored.

If you can't wait a week, see if you can put your route together with info from here - http://wwwapps.dotd.la.gov/administr...aspx?key=24204

You living in WM or working? Talked with mom earlier today, she is in WM and she said winds were bad. Sister that lives there had a huge pine tree fall across her driveway and she couldn’t get out all day.

Fishing American crappie trail Friday and Sat. Hotels full of linemen and evacuees. One lady from lake Charles said they lost their house and asked about mine. Told her I think it was ok but I haven’t checked yet. Didn’t have the heart to tell her we were just here to fish!! Riding out hurricanes to chase a panfish!!!
