      These are around 580 grs. As far as the crimp, if you look at the pic where I’m holding the two side by side, I was comparing a regular fold crimp and a fold crimp finished by a GAEP finishing crimper.

          Here’s another slug I reload (I don’t make these, obviously) that works extremely well and is super accurate. It’s a steel expanding segmented slug.

          The dome in the middle of the slug pushes in causing the sharp petals to break off creating separate, jagged wounds.

          First animal I killed with it was a hog at Hagerman. 80 yard shot while the hog was running. Slug hit the liver and passed through. The petals broke off with three going in multiple places in the liver/paunch area and three going through the lungs.

          All six petals passed through.
