How do you get off of a Google call list.

They call me 3-5 times a day wanting to verify my Google listing. The first thing the recording says is "please don't hang up". It's always a local number. If you wait long enough, you can talk to a rep that after a heated conversation will hang up on you. Even though I block the number each time they call, they have unlimited numbers. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Google it!

Sorry had to say it. I know exactly what your talking about. I get them all the time. Block the number and they just call from another. Very annoying

I have a spam blocker on my phone. Hiya. If you aren't in my contacts, my phone doesn't even ring. It shows as a missed call and whoever it is can leave a message. If it is spam, I just delete.

There is a setting on my iPhone that will not allow calls from numbers not in your contact list---shoots them direct to voice mail.

Same here. Plus you can get nomorobo and Robo killer. So far so good. I hate spam calls with a passion.

I just don’t answer my phone if it is not a contact. I do have a small business, but people calling will leave a message if they really want to talk to me. I probably miss a few business calls, but I’m ok w that

I can't afford to ignore a number not in my contacts. I have two phones. One for my fishing lodge on Lake Fork and one for my homebuilding business. I can't, not answer a call from a number that's not in my contacts. That's were my livelihood comes from.

I block the calls.. I had been getting the same message 4 or 5 times a day.. I started blocking the number each time . Took a couple weeks but I haven't gotten that call in a while.. I did get one last week about Alexa listings.

This is what I do for my cell ^^^. If a call does get through that's not in my contacts, I don't answer. And wait to see if they leave voice mail. No voice mail, and it goes to block. And I never answer my home landline either. I let my answering machine do that for me. And I almost always get a "click" before my message is finished.

When you figure it out, I need to know. Insurance calls too.
