They call me 3-5 times a day wanting to verify my Google listing. The first thing the recording says is "please don't hang up". It's always a local number. If you wait long enough, you can talk to a rep that after a heated conversation will hang up on you. Even though I block the number each time they call, they have unlimited numbers. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Same here. Plus you can get nomorobo and Robo killer. So far so good. I hate spam calls with a passion.

This is what I do for my cell ^^^. If a call does get through that's not in my contacts, I don't answer. And wait to see if they leave voice mail. No voice mail, and it goes to block. And I never answer my home landline either. I let my answering machine do that for me. And I almost always get a "click" before my message is finished.
